It was James Williams who emerged a clear winner on the run to the line by putting in a number of bike lengths over Liam Murray and John Byrne, all from the dominating South Tipp CC. James has now taken over the lead in the overall table, just 3 points ahead of Lee Compton with Tipp Wheelers' Martin Breen battling har din third place.
Next week will be an interesting test with a 4.5 km time trial up to Aherlow from the Tipperary Town side. There will be a 2 km flat section of road before the gradients bite. Points will be allocated based on average speeds versus rider's current maximum average speed for previous time trials. Sign on will be in Kelly Drinks on the Bansha road at 6.45 pm to 7 pm. Competitors will then ride out to the start together.
Note that was a mistake made in last week's time where one rider was missed. The points have been reallocated accordingly. Putting the tables together takes a bit or work and it is complicated so if anyone spots any issues please let us know.
